feedly allows you to follow content on your favorite websites, blogs, Youtube channels and RSS feeds in one place. feedly for Mac syncs with the iPhone and iPad app and has a few extra features that you won't find on the web app.

To log into feedly, you can use a Google or Twitter account and the Dock icon has a counter with unread items. You can open also open articles in a new tab inside the app without switching to a web browser.
If you use feedly on iOS or use the web app, the Mac client is definitely worth trying.
